Dear well-wishers,
Regards from Gram Vikas Trust, Bharuch!
Since 2001, the primary aim of Gram Vikas Trust (GVT) is education. With these years working on education GVT believes that awareness on importance of education is very much low and the other top reason which linked to the first reason is irregularity in school. These two major reasons do not allow students to make their future. They do not able to find out or set an aim for life. Most of the parents just send their children to school, but do not motivate them for studies. The culture of the rural areas also plays a major role in poor education system.
“Black color is sentimentally bad but every black board makes the students life bright.”
- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
GVT has seen most of the children study up to 8th class from the village only, (but the quality of teaching and learning is not good) and even get enrolled in higher secondary in nearby villages. But not able to clear the examination of 10th class and 12th class and just waste their lives doing nothing after the failure. Due to less focus on primary education the whole career of students’ life gets destroyed. And it is not only the fault of government system, teachers or parents but together all are equally involved.
At Bharuch, GVT tries to fill the gap, to educate the parents, teachers and students. GVT tried to sensitize the parents and teachers to play their role with care, support and responsibility which will create an atmosphere of education for their child through different awareness meetings with parents and Government teachers training.
All these small efforts will definitely help the child to make his future, a better person who will contribute to our society at larger level. Let us together we try to make our society even better with gifting education to a single child.
