Dear Patrons,
Gram Vikas Trust, (GVT) Bharuch has aimed to reach to the unreached in the coming years. Many school which GVT has visited or are in contact are somewhat not able to create a safe learning environment for the children. And particularly the Vasava community tribal are the main vulnerable which make them the society’s most vulnerable people as they are not getting educated.
Since years, GVT has witnessed many people from this community are not able to get their common rights or not able to raise their voice as they are not educated. Community people are not able to understand as the culture has set up in such a way that they are not able to think that they are the most vulnerable people of the society. Though living in almost near the most developed block of the district.
GVT is trying to bridge the gap by providing education by different means. Scholarship to the needy children, bicycle for the girls who are living in the pocket areas, para teacher where government teacher’s shortage is there, school materials for the needy children, parents support group to empower the children and parents.
GVT has identified some volunteer group from the local community and trying to make them the heroes of the community, by providing education to the children, make the children regular in school by parent’s visits and some of the community awareness program by making the volunteers giving training. GVT believes that this will take some more time but it is the game of mind set. It is not going to change in a day or two, continuous efforts and hope for the best will make such difference in the lives of hundreds.
Your support will make GVT to reach to the unreached.
With best regards and a happy new year!
