Gift a Smile to 75 Cleft Children in India

Due to Covid19 Crisis, Parents of Children with Cleft are very cautious of getting their children surgeries. We had started our surgeries in a phased manner starting with 3 Cleft Surgeries in August 2021 and 6 surgeries in September.

We have initiated Screening Camps in rural areas of similar to the ones conducted : https://www.flickr.com/photos/trinitycarefoundation/albums/72157649293768832

The project will help 75 Cleft children to go to school with confidence and self-esteem after their surgeries and treatments. The children will have less chances of getting bullied and traumatized. The families of these children will have confidence to bring up their Cleft children.

The stigma attached to their deformity causes affected children, who are otherwise completely healthy, to lead incomplete, fractured lives . They are often forbidden from attending school, playing with other children, being seen at social gatherings and some are even barred from leaving their homes.
