Thank you very much for being with us all along our journey. Our children have been very fortunate to receive your patronage over the years.
In the last three months, we spent a great deal of efforts in ensuring the children are safe and protected from Covid19 Second Wave. Many parents have lost their lives or landed in deep financial crisis
1. As schools were closed by the Government, many children have been forced to attend online classes. Children from poor families cannot afford buying a mobile phone. Sphoorti took up an initiative to distribute more than 60 mobile phones/tablets in Hyderabad, Tirupati and a few more places in AP and Telangana.
2. We distributed 15 laptops to children who are pursuing Engineering and other Bachelor courses.
3. We sponsored education of more than 30 children who lost parent(s) to Covid19 in the Second Wave.
4. We have distributed sanitary pads to some girls from slum areas
5. We distributed medicines and face masks to many poor children in Hyderabad and a few areas in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
