Cindy Brand, owner of Finca Salvaje, was down for a visit again just before Christmas. So far we have raised $415 from only 12 donors to fund the biological corridor project at Finca Salvaje.
Cindy took some great photos during her visit, one of particular interest to us. The Capuchin Monkey is in endangerment. Here at La Reserva in the northern zone of Costa Rica these primates have all but disappeared. We used to see them here over 20 years ago but due to poisoning by farmers we don’t see them anymore, although they are just over the hill in the large Quebrada Azul forest. As he sits in the tree at Finca Salvaje you must wonder if humanity will act quickly enough to save him.
The photo of Cindy herself says it all, in front of a rainbow. This is an omen for us, a sign, to give us hope that this project will be funded before the next rainy season begins, so that we can GET PLANTING!!
Thank you Cindy for the great pics. Everyone please tell your friends, neighbors and other family members to get behind us to save the worlds tropical indigenous forests. Leave a comment, say something to everyone, this is another way to give your support.
