Your donation helps us to: Maintain the Pediatric Health House, the only facility in Puerto Rico that offers convalescence and long-term care services for children aged 0 to 21 with severe and permanent conditions, under the custody of the Department of Family Services. Provide outpatient therapeutic services to children and youth across the island through contracts with the Departments of Health and Education. Strengthen and expand the educational and therapeutic services.
We need your support, to continue fulfilling our mission and expanding our services: Expand our services to provide care for children ages 2 to 3, offering a safe and appropriate environment where parents can ensure their children's proper development during their early formative years. Acquire essential therapeutic equipment and materials to provide innovative and effective treatments. Strengthen our outpatient therapy, extending the reach of our services to more communities across the island.
Currently, our Centro de Aprendizaje del Nino has the capacity to serve up to 120 children aged 3 to 9 years. With this support, we can expand our services to include children aged 2 to 3 years, providing them with a safe and appropriate environment for their development during their early formative years. Additionally, we provide therapeutic services to around 3,000 children from 3 - 21 years old across the island.
