Challenge

Ayapel is a Colombian municipality in the state of Cordoba, with a territorial extension of 1,929 Km2, due to its topographic characteristics it has become a territory of environmental interest since it has been built in the middle of the Ayapel Cienaga which was declared Ramsar territory in 2018, composed of 140,000 hectares of wetlands, 360 registered species and 64 migratory species that visit it annually among other characteristics of great relevance. The project is proposed as a solution to the problem, since it focuses on empowering the new generations, specifically young people as agents of sustainable development of the territory, since they are subjects with the capacity to take action and build alternatives that enhance community life.
