By Francis Osisiogu | Project Leader
The project has officially commenced with strong preparation and responsible financial planning to ensure effective implementation across targeted communities in Yobe State. Out of the total funding goal of $3,230, resources are being carefully allocated toward community mobilization, training materials, facilitator support, venue logistics, transportation, and participant engagement activities. Initial operational planning has been completed, and partnerships with local community leaders and volunteers have helped reduce administrative costs while maximizing the project’s impact.
Although fundraising is still ongoing, the project team has prioritized transparency and cost efficiency to ensure every contribution directly supports awareness activities and participant education. Procurement for educational materials and workshop resources has been initiated, while budget monitoring systems have been established to track expenditures and maintain accountability throughout the project cycle.
Community interest has continued to grow, with local stakeholders expressing willingness to participate in dialogue sessions and support awareness campaigns. The project remains committed to reaching 250 beneficiaries with practical gender rights education that promotes equality, mutual respect, and long-term positive social change in Yobe State.
