In this time of darkness and need, Rebuilding Alliance is working to send solar-powered lights through to Gaza children. These nightlights can help children in the long hours of darkness in their tents. RA is partnering with LittleSun to purchase solar lights with a rechargeable, replaceable battery, and with BioLite / MPowerd to send rechargeable lanterns. To get them into Gaza, we're partnering with other NGO's and w the Jordanian Hashemite Charities. Please hold Gaza's children in the light.
The war and ongoing bombings of Gaza keep it in total darkness with over 1.024 Mil deeply traumatized children. Nights are especially scary. Life is put on hold when the sun sets. Imagine being a little child without a nightlight. Solar lights change this -but how to get them in? Rebuilding Alliance is good at working through details -RA sent 35,000 solar lights through the Blockade in the past -we ask your help to send them again now.
Because the need is so great, please help send thousands of solar-powered lanterns to children in Gaza. We can do this. Though we have good experience, the UN and Customs pre-clearances present daunting challenges, and once in Gaza, the looting of supply trucks is extreme. We are taking with our counterparts and working with suppliers to get this moving. RA's four Palestinian Non Governmental Org partners will distribute to children in greatest need.
Sending a solar light is important, especially in a dark, cold winter. The little light can show that someone cares, can offer hope, and provide a way to hold on. We are thankful that the Three C Group GmbH is joining to advance this program and hope that many more companies and groups will partner with Rebuilding Alliance to get a light to every family, every tent.
