In response to a massive attack on Israel on October 7th, the Israeli Gov. declared a 'state of war'. The Israeli Army ordered mass evacuation of Gaza neighborhoods, cut electricity and water. UNOCHA: 123,538 Palestinians are displaced in the Gaza Strip. On Oct. 9th, the Israel's Minister of Defense extended the siege, ordering, "There will be no food, no fuel, everything is closed." Intense bombing is underway. A Gazan's Reminder: "We are NOT Hamas, we are just ordinary people trying to live."
Our Palestinian Non-Governmental Partners together with dozens of volunteers, will provide emergency food, water, blankets, hygiene supplies, and solar lights to the thousands of families in Gaza now taking refuge in private homes and UNRWA schools. Rebuilding Alliance learned how to provide immediate aid during the 51 days of bombing in 2014 - that was 1000 bombs a day. We provided emergency aid again in May 2021 and May 2022. Please help get supplies to families, now when needed most.
Your support will open a lifeline to a family who is in survival mode. This relief can be a lifesaver, especially for children, parents, the disabled, and the elderly. They need help and they need to know that someone cares. Our Palestinian NGO partners can begin to address their other needs once they make contact. May the world hear these families' voices and stop bombing, assure civilian safety, protect human rights, and end apartheid, occupation, and siege to build a just and lasting peace.
