In Gaza, families are struggling for survival. Basic necessities like food, water, and medical care are scarce, while children, the elderly, and the vulnerable face unimaginable hardship. Rebuilding Alliance manages 21 kitchens serving 60,000 hot meals daily - we ask your help to do more. Help our kitchens respond to the emergencies they are seeing by providing life-saving aid: more food when suppliers have it, opening new neighborhood kitchens, buying/sending tents, blankets, and warm clothes.
Most of Rebuilding Alliance's kitchens are in the center of Gaza in "humanitarian zones" where 2mil people are sheltering. Since early October, World Food Programme commodity deliveries to RA's 21 kitchens were down to only 30% of the food needed and kitchens were closing around us, bringing more mouths to feed. To meet these needs RA now also buys from suppliers in Gaza, we registered with UNOPS to send supplies by truck, and met the RJAF to request supplies by helicopter - 1st test successful.
Your donation to the Gaza Emergency Relief Fund allows RA to respond to immediate needs of our kitchen teams and the families who come to our kitchens. RA transfers funds to our Palestinian NGO partners through bank to bank wire transfers. To avoid money changer fees, RA contracts with international NGOs to reimburse kitchens and with suppliers to purchase inside Gaza. RA is filing clearance requests to move formula, jackets, tents, more through the Jordan Humanitarian Corridor. We ask your help
