The primary objective of the Gaza Education Hub is to provide displaced students with the resources and support they need to continue their education during the conflict. Specific goals include establishing a safe and equipped learning space in Deir Al-Balah that will serve students displaced to the southern region of Gaza. The Hub will provide 1,000 university and high school students, with accessible facilities for students with disabilities, access to internet, electricity, and study materials.
Looking Ahead: 2025 and Beyond
The Gaza Education Hub’s continued vision is ambitious, yet still achievable, despite the dire circumstances. By investing in education, we are investing in a brighter future for Gaza and its continuation of culture and heritage. Our 2025 Roadmap remains intact, and we're diligently building toward each goal.
Since the last report, we have diligently worked through difficult circumstances to create more partnerships and expand our infrastructure. Regardless of continued conflict, our expansion has continued with a new site amongst the rubble in the Shuja'iyya community, and we continue to serve our students while encouraging continuity through the Educational Hub.
