HKI continues to work with the Rural Development Association (RDA) and Village Health Support Group (VHSG) to provide training and agricultural inputs for 1000 households in Battambang Province. HKI has conducted training on HFP practices and training on nutrition behavioral change communications (BBC) for local NGO partners, a training on HFP for the 28 village model farms (VMFs) in the district, and a nutrition BCC training for VHVs. Target households in Battambang Province have received homestead foof production training. The VMFs have each received up to 10 varieties of seeds and 10 chickens, 8 of which are hens. Households have received up to 5 varieties of seeds and 3 chickens, 2 of which are hens. Two VMFs received 4 varieties of saplings: papaya, guava, jackfruit, and mango. HKI has also provided live fencing made from ipil-ipil for target households.
