This initiative by Chance4All focuses on breaking the financial barriers that prevent talented but underprivileged students in Zambia from accessing higher education. While strides have been made in primary and secondary education, many deserving students are forced to halt their academic journey due to the high costs of tuition, accommodation, and learning materials at the tertiary level. This project seeks to fundraise scholarships for students, ensuring they can access higher education.
Despite academic excellence, many students from underserved communities lack financial support to continue their education beyond high school. Tuition fees, accommodation, and learning materials remain major hurdles, preventing them from achieving their full potential. Without support, these students risk falling into recurring cycles of poverty. Funds raised from this project will enable selected students to pursue higher education at reputable universities and colleges in Zambia.
Our goal is to support at least two students annually, with the capacity to grow as funding increases. Each scholarship will cover tuition fees, essential learning materials, and, in some cases, accommodation. Beyond financial aid, recipients will also benefit from mentorship, career guidance, and academic support to ensure not only access but success throughout their academic journey. Students will be identified through a transparent and inclusive selection process.
By providing access to tertiary education for vulnerable youth, the project helps break intergenerational cycles of poverty and dependence. Educated graduates are more likely to secure stable employment, support their families, and become leaders in their communities. As scholarship recipients progress yearly and become graduates, they will become role models and mentors, they will inspire future generations to pursue education, creating a ripple effect of empowerment and aspiration.
