Greetings from Guatemala.
In our last report we brought to your attention that not just the donations to the Integral Heart Family School had gone down, but in fact, across all the major players, donations were also down.
Just look at what Charity Navigator says here; ‘philanthropic activity is down 20% year-over-year since 2022’.
Integral Heart revenues have been trending at 18% down over this same period at the time of the last report.
However, and this is great news; in the past two weeks after reaching out to every single monthly donors (all 112 of them), who had either cancelled their support or who support failed because the card they had used to set up the original had expired, we successfully recovered five of these wonderful Sustaining Sponsors and also brought on four new ones.
In hard numbers, two weeks ago we had to add an additional $2,300 per month in cumulative donations for each of the next 6 months up to Oct 31 to make up this shortfall and to stave off cuts.
Now that deficit is cut down to $800 per month for each of the next six months!!!!
That’s the really great news.
We know you’ve got our back and we are continuing our work to make up the rest.
Please forward this newsletter with your personal recommendation.
All of our financial data and tax returns are available on our website. I put that link below.
With best wishes,
