The last time I saw my mom in 2017, when Debora and I visited Ireland for her 80th Birthday!
She has arrived in Guatemala, with my second youngest brother, and on Monday 10th
we will all be at the Valentines Party to help us celebrate the 4th anniversary of the school
and to kick off our Valentines Week Fundraiser!
(More photos and updates on that coming your way.)

And, there's has already been a great start to the year; on Tuesday January the 21st we had
our first medical clinic of the year with the SOS Medical Team. The team attended to 50
people in total, 27 children and 23 adults.
In general the major problems were the flu and allergies in children, and diabetes in both adults
and children. These problems were linked to malnutrition and lack of personal hygiene and
cleanliness in their homes. As part of the sustainability of this project the people attended
were advised on these matters and we will follow up with them specifically on the next date.
With love and respect,
Mick & Debora, co-founders
And all the students, staff and families of
The Integral Heart Family School
in Guatemala.
