The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community in Chile.

We develop Olympic-type sports through a system of:Sports training, training throughout the year and national and international tournaments.We work to generate equal opportunities every day for all people with intellectual disabilities in Chile.
Our first goal for this year is to achieve an opportunity for inclusion, through access to our programs to 1,000 children, adolescents and young people in Chile.
