Fundacion Aladina is a non-profit private entity that focuses on helping children and teenagers with cancer and their families through enhancing their emotional and material well-being.
Many children and teenagers with cancer are struggling.
Fundacion Aladina works through its activities and its team of volunteers, provides counseling and uses therapeutic play to help hospitalized children and teens learn to cope with their illness and situation without losing their happiness and will to get better.
Aladina collaborates with Barretstown, a camp for children with serious illnesses located in Ireland, helping as many as 125 Spanish children per year, have their perfect summer adventure free of charge. The Foundation also oversees workshops, especially hospital visits, a marvelous teen room, counseling and grief groups. Aladina also works closely with the palliative care units.
