Education is a fundamental human right but this is not true in many societies across the globe. In some communities, education is a privilege most espeicially for children with poor family backgrounds. Gender inequality, poverty and wars have made education a privilege because children from families who are able to flee war and conflict can attend education in other places, in areas with bad custorms and traditions that forbit girl children from school, the able ones can seek education in other places and children from poor family backgrounds would not have these opportunities due to poverty.
Integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) is one the organizations in Cameroon that cares deeply about the education and wellfare of the lessprivileged and orphaned children. IAA has paid fees and provided educational materials to three vulnerable children in Kumbo and they are progressing very well in academics. One is in college in form three, and the other two are in primary school all made possible with donation through GlobalGiving.
The eldest has been suffering from Growth since he was very little, and IAA has consulted medical experts to examine the situation and the preparation for a surgery is ongoing. We need to act very quickly to improve the health of this young boy and you would be making a great step by donation any ($) in support of his surgery today, which enable us to pay hospital bills.
With your continued support, we are able to put smile on the faces of the lessprivileged children in our community. Thank you for being part of our community of supporters at GlobalGiving.
With gratitudes!
