Updates From The Field!

By Dungrila Pascal Mbimenyuy. | I.A.A Director/Project Leader.

What your donations has helped Integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) to achieve in the past few months is much more greater, but a lot still need to be done.

IAA aimed at funding the surgery of an orphan and the education of this child and his two brothers, who are helpless due to poverty and lost of their father. The project will fund complete medical surgery for a 15 year old boy, "A", who has been suffering from growth since he was about 5 years old. Additionally, it will provide educational support for him and his two brothers, "B and C" by paying their tuition fees, books, uniform and shoes for 5 years in Kumbo.

Beginning from Class six in the primary school, "Formonyu", has progressed to Form three in the secondary school with the help of your donations. His other two brothers have received school materials but for "Formonyuy" who is at the same time a patient, he has received complete educational support. However, this year, IAA have pleaded with the school administration to keep them in school while waiting for IAA to respond by providing their school needs shortly.

Funding is a challenge because IAA has not received a donation to push these children to school this year, but more importantly, the health of "Formonyuy" who is suffering from growth continious to detoriorate because IAA has not been able to secure funding to provide for this need. IAA needs $4205 more money to provide complete support to these vulnerable children.

While we hope to be able to reach our goal of raising significant funds for this project on Giving Tuesday, your donation is very much appreciated and could go even further as all donations made on the 3rd of December will be matched by GlobalGiving. With $750000 bonus fund, your could double your impact by helping us improve the lives of children in extreme poverty by providing education, health and mental support in our community.

Join us on giving Tuesday, you are not only making a donation, but contributing to the celebration of global generousity. Thank you for being part of our community of supporters and for helping us fight poverty and inequalities in our community.
