Thank you supporters for helping 2 more people have the opportunity to follow their dreams!
At Caminamos Juntos, we strive to support our participants in integrating fully into the community after returning. We believe that everyone should have access to education.
With the donations made by you in our December 2021 campaign, we were able to provide access to the program to 2 more of our participants, who otherwise may have never been able to continue their education if not for supporters like you. There have been 65 donors that have donated $7,064 so far to help fund the High School Diploma Program since beginning this campaign in December 2020 and 14 of our participants have been able to access the program.
Our lastest participant, Francisco, finished his high school diploma program on January 8, 2022. This is what he had to say about what finishing the high school program does for him and his family:
"Les quiero agradecer de todo corazón por este regalo que me dieron, para concluir o retomar mis estudios. Esto no sólo es para mí, también para mis hijos, para mi esposa... para mi familia. Porque de este manera es una herramienta más para continuar el día a día con mi vida, para sacar adelante a mí mismo y a mi familia"---Francisco
(Translated from Spanish to English)
"I want to thank you with all my heart for this gift you gave me, to finish or continue my studies. This is not only for me, but also for my children, for my wife... for my family. This is a tool that will follow me day by day in my life, to get ahead for myself and my family"--Francisco
This is a program we will continue offering to our participants in the future to help them fulfill their dreams. Most of our participants never had a chance to go to high school for various reasons, but with your help they can now make those dreams come true!
Thank you again for all your support in making this happen!
