This project will provide 10 Mexicans deported from the US with the opportunity to obtain a high school diploma, which will enable them to secure employment at higher wages in Mexico.
Back in their country Mexicans without a high school diploma are at a disadvantage in the job market after spending most of their lives in the US.
Caminamos Juntos is working with Future Education Systems, a government certified vendor, to provide an accelerated program for adults to receive a high school diploma in four months.
With a high school diploma graduates will be able to: Secure permanent employment at a higher wage, advance within their company or profession and access higher education opportunities if they choose, but, above all, contribute to their wellbeing in their new life.
