Fund for sewage solutions in Argentina

We are very happy to share a new update on the project.

As mentioned in our previous report, we moved forward with a second stage of the initiative that included the construction of 20 new sewage solutions for families in the neighborhood. We are pleased to share that all works were completed before the end-of-year holidays, allowing families to celebrate this important time in better sanitary conditions, with greater comfort and dignity.

For many families, having access to proper sanitation represents a profound change in their daily lives. Being able to welcome relatives, share meals, and celebrate together without the risks associated with the lack of basic infrastructure has a direct impact on well-being and peace of mind at home. Although the summer season brings increased health risks, reaching this time of year with the sewage solutions already completed was a major relief and a concrete improvement for the entire community.

The neighborhood where the project is being implemented is located near a river, and many families obtain their drinking water from underground wells. The lack of safe sewage disposal systems puts this water at risk of contamination and threatens community health. Thanks to your support, 20 additional families now have access to essential sanitation infrastructure, reducing soil and water contamination and significantly improving their living conditions.

This achievement is the result of coordinated work between Madre Tierra’s technical team and our community development team, who accompany families and prioritize those in the most vulnerable situations.

During this stage of the project, we successfully completed the installation of sewage solutions for 20 selected families living in a vulnerable neighborhood. This improvement has already had a strong impact, not only on the families themselves but also on the entire community, since proper sanitation helps prevent contamination of the water they drink every day.

The neighborhood is located next to a river and most families extract water directly from underground wells. Without safe sewage disposal, these waters risk being contaminated, posing serious health concerns. Thanks to your support, families now live in a healthier environment and with improved quality of life.

The results have been so positive that the community, together with Madre Tierra, has decided to move forward with a second stage of the project to reach 20 new families.

In this next phase, our team will continue working from two perspectives:

• Technical: with our architects and engineers, who will identify the best places and methods to carry out the works.

• Social: with our community development team, who will prioritize the families in greatest need of this essential service.
