For a survivor of child sexual exploitation, rescue is the beginning, not the end. The Dream Fund gives her the tools, training and support to build the future she chooses: a laptop for online classes, a coding bootcamp, a camera to start a photography business, culinary training to become a chef. In 2025 we funded over 100 survivor dreams across Nepal, India, the Dominican Republic, Brazil and Thailand. Your gift turns a survivor's dream into a real, funded plan.
Survivors of child sexual exploitation carry more than trauma into their recovery. They carry ambition. But severe socio-economic constraints, stigma, and the psychological weight of what they have survived can make even a modest dream feel out of reach: a laptop, a language course, the tools to start a small trade. Without targeted support, survivors risk being defined permanently by what was done to them rather than by what they are capable of building next.
The Dream Fund is built around the survivor, not a fixed curriculum. Each participant defines a dream, and we fund a tailored plan around it: vocational training, education, equipment, or mentorship. Kanya in Thailand trains to become a chef. Sita in Nepal studies English for a career in tourism. Sanjay in India builds a photography portfolio with a professional camera. The fund also covers counseling, monitoring visits, and ongoing guidance around the dream itself.
Every funded dream moves a survivor further from the identity that exploitation tried to assign her, and closer to the one she is building herself. Skill acquisition leads to employability, employability leads to financial independence, and financial independence lets her plan a future on her own terms. The ripple reaches her community too: a survivor with a trade, a business, or a career is a visible answer to the stigma that so often keeps other survivors silent.
