Funding acid survivors in Pakistan, primarily women, to get medical assistance as well as vocationally training for jobs.
According to data collected by NGO the Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF), between 2007 and 2018 there were 1,485 reported cases of acid attacks in Pakistan. About a third involved children splashed with acid when family members were attacked.
These numbers are sadly not decreasing. We will use these funds to partner with local organizations to ensure medical assistance as well as fund vocationally training for jobs for these women.
These women will be productive, well adjusted members of Pakistani society, with financial independence.
