Thank you so much for your financial support for the building of a new multipurpose street kids centre in Lubumbashi. As we advised in the last report, we have raised sufficient money to purchase the land in the city centre, so now we are fundraising for the construction of the new centre.
A new multipurpose street kids centre will enable us to continue to provide support for children living on the streets and creatively develop our work offering life skills training for former street kids and preventative support projects for families who are at risk of breakdown. Our own property will offer greater flexibility to develop and offer a greater range of support to vulnerable children and families. Training that will be offered include sewing and carpentry through our existing experienced staff team.
