Before joining SoyMás, Claudia — a young mother of two from La Pintana — lived with constant uncertainty about how to provide stability for her children and build a professional future for herself.
Through SoyMás’ digital literacy and workforce development program, Claudia studied Programming and Data Analysis at our La Pintana center. During the program, she not only developed technical skills, but also regained confidence in her abilities and discovered new career possibilities in the technology sector.
Today, Claudia works as a Digital Innovation Engineer at Copec, one of Chile’s leading companies. Her journey reflects the transformative power of access to education, digital skills, and personalized support for young mothers facing economic and social barriers.
Stories like Claudia’s are especially meaningful at a time when youth unemployment in Chile remains above 22% among people under 25. Programs focused on technology, employability, and mentorship create real pathways toward long-term economic mobility and stability for women and their families.
