Across affected communities, the reality remains urgent. Families like Aondo’s and Sadiya’s continue to face the devastating impact of farmer-herder conflict, displacement, destroyed livelihoods, food insecurity, and deep emotional trauma. With rising tension over land and water resources, the need for conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and community-led solutions has never been more critical.
But there is hope and it starts with action.
Through this project, we are laying the foundation for sustainable peace by:
- Facilitating community dialogue between farmers and herders
- Training local leaders in mediation and conflict prevention
- Providing trauma healing and psychosocial support for women and children
- Establishing early warning systems to prevent violence
- Promoting inclusive participation of youth and women in peace processes
These efforts are designed not just to stop conflict, but to build resilient communities, strengthen social cohesion, and protect livelihoods for the long term.
However, we are just getting started—and we cannot do this alone.
With a funding goal of $12,000, we are currently at 0 donors. Every contribution, no matter the size, will directly support peacebuilding initiatives, humanitarian aid, and community development in one of Nigeria’s most vulnerable regions.
Your donation today can help turn conflict into cooperation.
Stand with us to empower communities, restore hope, and build lasting peace.
Together, we can create a future where dialogue replaces violence, and where families can live, farm, and thrive in peace.
Donate now and be part of this life-changing impact.
