Thank you.
Because of your gift, we handed out thousands of Embracelets at Pride celebrations this year. Each one is a small, handmade thing. Someone sat down and made it with their own hands, and someone else walked up to a booth, got one, and wore it out into the crowd. For a lot of people, it was the first time anyone had handed them a sign that said you belong here.
A bracelet can't solve everything. But it can say what is sometimes hardest to say out loud: I see you, and I'm glad you're here.
We are also excited to share something new. Through our partnership with BabyGay, we are now making Embracelets for people who have just come out. Coming out is a big moment, and it's theirs. What we can do is make sure it's met with warmth. A handmade bracelet, made by someone who has never met them, saying you are not alone and there are people cheering for you.
We also have a change to share. We are moving our donations to the Mama Dragons secure giving site, so more of every dollar goes directly to the work and we can build a closer relationship with the people who make it possible. You can give a one-time gift here: Give securely to Mama Dragons
If you'd like to stand with us all year, not just at Pride, we'd love to have you join Flame Keepers, our monthly giving program. A steady gift helps us plan ahead and keep making and sharing Embracelets with everyone who needs one. Become a Flame Keeper
We are fighting like mothers for our kids. Every dollar helps us get louder, prouder, and out there, so more people find us, and more people know they are loved.
Thank you for being part of this.
With love,
Liz and the Mama Dragons
