Fresh Start Recovery Centre's purpose is both simple and profound: to help people build a better life. We guide individuals toward genuine, lasting change by deepening their understanding of addiction and trauma and equipping them with the tools to overcome it. Through a holistic, culturally sensitive, and supportive experience, we strengthen resilience, restore hope, and empower each person on their journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Addiction negatively affects people's health and has a significant impact on the economy including healthcare costs, lost productivity and criminal justice. Addiction can lead to social isolation, reduced employability leading to poverty and homelessness, and reduced family and parental functioning.
For people suffering from addiction, recovery saves and changes their own lives for the better. For their families, recovery helps to repair relationships, restore trust, and improve positive outcomes for children. For the community and society in general, recovery can reduce the economic impact caused by substance use.
