Fresh Start Women's Foundation in Phoenix, AZ, is a women's resource center that provides resources, referrals and services to women that are in transition in their life. Fresh Start provides counseling, legal assistance, career services, education, support groups, a library and child watch services. Fresh Start's self-esteem center includes professional wardrobe services, hair cuts, manicures, massage and a number of confidence building workshops and classes.
Women are the backbone of our community and they are need more than ever before. Whether they are escaping a domestic violence situation, have just been laid off from work, are grieving the loss of a child or have found themselves homeless, hopeless and alone - Fresh Start is committed to getting their life back on track. The need is great - Fresh Start receives visits from 30,000 women every year.
Fresh Start is connecting women and changing lives everyday. Since the women's resource center opened its doors 10 years ago, Fresh Start has been setting women on the path to a new, successful life. From job placement, to finalized legal situations, to a new, confident look - Fresh Start changes the lives of these women for the better.
Fresh Start's goal is to help the women of our community to be self-sufficient. Get them employed, get them off of government assistance, get their family life stable. If we can help the women of our society, we help the entire family and entire community.
