How often do we ask ourselves just how much difference we can really make? Here is to the power of YOU, and the world of a difference you make.
Whilst you are familiar with most of the inspiring and sublime work The Freedom Theatre is doing, and whilst some of you might even have visited us in beautiful Jenin - how much do you know about who is behind all those magnificent and life-changing projects? Who is pulling the strings to make the magic happen? About time you found out and so we figured, it's time for a little "behind the scenes" update! And even if you don't have a chance to come to Jenin - this is The Freedom Theatre coming to you!

Today I proudly present a very special rose - Fidaa Ataya, our very talented, outstanding Storyteller and Drama Pedagogue at The Freedom Theatre.
Fidaa is a one in a million talent, she mesmerizes not only children but even any grown-up around! She captivates her young audience like no other and for the duration of her performances everybody finds themselves whisked away into a magical world of wondrous and engaging stories...
Anyone who is lucky enought to see Fidaa in action will find themselves not too surprised after all, that a wonderful place such as Palestine, filled with so many deserving children should have their very own Mary Poppins!
Through art and through story, children can see, that aside from the way of power, there are other ways to see the world. Those who oppress us and make us feel fear, feel fear themselves. It's an image of wholeness through which we begin to be free. And for about one hour children are exactly just that - children.
By supporting The Freedom Theatre, you are enabling people like Fidaa to not only live out her passion and pursue her dream, but work her magic from which so many children benefit. And given that you are a highly esteemed supporter, you should be VERY proud and give yourself a big round of applause!!
