Greetings,

Your kind and generous donations have been instrumental in empowering out of school girls in our community!

You remember the 5 young girls we told you about on our previous report, the ones who were to be recruited to SARE Designs? Well, they're not just learning, they're thriving! They are being empowered with valuable vocational skills in sewing and dressmaking. The girls have also been receiving comprehensive training in basic life skills, including financial literacy, personal development, digital marketing, Entrepreneurship education, teaching vital aspects of business planning, marketing personal  and customer relations. They have gotten the opportunity to put their sewing skills into practice by making school uniforms for underprivileged students which will be donated to them come January through our school uniform distribution program. We will also partner with skilled local tailors for the uniform distribution. We believe that by doing this, our program will be able to scale its impact and reach more students in rural areas of Kenya, providing them with access to education through affordable and high-quality school uniforms and menstrual hygiene supplies.

In addition, the girls have been able to learn about art and design, where they made flower vases using cement, and also made mats. The students are currently on break for the December holidays and we expect them to report back on 16th January together with 25 more students who are expected to be enrolled to the training to make a full cohort of 30 out of school girls and young women. Our primary focus is on livelihood programs for women and girls, with the ultimate goal of fostering sustainable livelihoods and therefore, at the end of the training, the participants will receive seed capital to kickstart their own ventures, empowering them to become self-sufficient and independent, earning their own income and supporting  their families and communities.

Thank you for your support - these accomplishments would not have been possible without your invaluable support and belief in our mission. Your generosity has changed lives, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to our cause.

Happy holidays!
