With the pandemic getting worse and worse in our area it was more important each time to make sure the kids and their parents didn´t miss any appointments and had a safe way back home for the holidays.
Our team, specially our driver, have really made an efford to keep up with this. Our city is facing hard times, and the job everyone does to keep the children safe is very remarkable. Last year, we did hundreds of round trips, from their isolated communities to hospital, and back. Making sure these families were sfae and out of risk of getting the virus.
I would like to mention, that our driver really goes above and beyond to drive those kids home. The comunities where they live are all spread around around the region, some of them not being connected with any paved roads, and he really gives an incredible service.
It's people like this, that give each and everyone of us hope during this hard times, after all the holidays were important for the families and it was our job to make sure they were home for christmas.
I would like to thank everyone who helped us achieve this during the whole year, last year was a really tough one, but thanks to you and the volunteers and our incredible team, we managed to bring every kid to their medical appointments and drive them back home safely.
