Free School for Underprivileged Children Pakistan

Due to the smart lockdown in Pakistan, all schools were closed again in country and online classes were encouraged by the government. It was difficult for the village underprivileged children to have online classes due to lack of required sources, but because of the loss of academic course during this year due to the pandemic we decided to divide books at the home of the children to continue their study at home using their books so organization distribute the books to the children in group of 10 because of the COVID but our organization able to distribute books among the 50 underprivileged children.

For starting the new academic year books were more important for the school children and the teachers also insisted for books for children. So with the kind support of our friends through GlobalGiving, we organized a books distribution for School children.

SUCCESS STORY FROM THE FIELD

Sahil (it’s not his real name) is a student of Joy Foundation School. Before the Joy Foundation School existed in village the children had to go to another village to school but Sahil could not do so because of his disability. After the opening of Joy Foundation School in village, Sahel’s parents requested Joy Foundation to help their child receive quality education along with other children in our school. So Sahil started coming to Joy Foundation School along with other students. We provided him with wheel chair and also supported him for his education.

Today he received his books and was very happy for the support. Joy Foundation believes in equality and inclusion for all. Sahil is a very intelligent student of our school and we will keep supporting him for a healthy and brighter future that he deserves.
