Free School for Underprivileged Children Pakistan

Our school Joy Foundation Chak No. 325 Dullam Toba Tek Singh, Pakistan is going well with the kind support of our partners here locally. We are still waiting to have some people those can support our project through GlobalGiving and through this project as it really need because the community is very much poor and they did not have school in there area and Joy Foundation open school for their children and register this school with the Government. Education in this school is free and all the books and copies for the children is free of cost.

With the self support Joy Foundation buy land and build school for the children and with the kind support of our GlobalGiving pratners we were able to install solar system and water filter for the children in the school now we build some new rooms in the school.

Now the school is growing and many children get education from this school with kind support of our partners and hard work of our team. At this time we have 6 grades including, Nursery, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The teachers are doing their best and teaching the students. The children are also very happy when they come to school. Big achievement is that school is now registered with the Government.

Chak No. 325 G.B Dullam is a rural area, 6 km from the city of Toba Tek Singh. This area has a total population of 4003 individuals. The village has no government hospital and private clinic. There is no proper electricity water system in the area. There is only one Government school which is not in the reach of the village people as it’s in other village. Because of that many children did not give education to their children they prefer to take them to the work. Most of the people from the village from this village work as laborer on brick machines which is really heard work.

Now the school is growing and many children get education from this school with kind support of our partners and hard work our team. At this time we have 6 grades including, Nursery, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The teachers are doing their best and teaching the students. The children are also very happy when they come to school. Big achievement is that school is now registering with the Government of Punjab.

Every year after the annual Exams Joy Foundation gives free books/copies/uniform and other school needs to the children which will be great support to the children and family. In the mean time as the number of student is growing Joy Foundation need to build new rooms to have more space.
