Two new cohorts already achieved

Two different 12th grade classrooms of approximately 30 students each attended to a professional orientation program that incluced not only finance contents but also an illustrated visit to a printing company where they were taken through all the processes embedded in the printing industry production and operations. Although some of these students had a clear vision of their future career, these youngsters were guided and supported in alll of their doubts and clarifications needed for them to build their future in the most appropiated way.

Their expectations were not only fulfilled by the Printing company General Manager, the administration Manager and the print operation process coordinator, but they found the inspiration needed to persist on their grades to obtain a high shool degree with the Graphic industry knowledge needed to opt for as a trainee within any company similar to the one visited.

For us this is a meaningful experience, one more step for these kids to pursue on their objective. Providing them with the knowledge tools to pursuing on their professional objective make us feel rewarded, because we will count on 60 more professionals to recover the country, when most of the professionals are leaving it looking forward for better opportunities in a country full of problems which needs young and prepared people to place it in the way for development.

Four cohorts achieving the goal

We have good news!. After previous reports when we were working on planning our financial education interventions we have achieved a total of 160 youngsters who received Contents of our programs Economics for succes, Be entrepreneur, Job Shadow and Personal Finance in local and remote locations within the country.

Economics for success reached 91 students at four different Municipalities, three of them in the Caracas metropolitan area and the other iat the Salesian Ladies Chinita Center, located in the San Francisco Municipality, Zulia State. Also in Caracas, we have taken two groups for a total of 32 students to live the experience of and in-hands operation of a graphic industry, were they not only covered their doubts on how to financially organized a company but also understood the steps aligned to their possible career. It resulted on a very inspiring experience which would continue to other industries.

In the case of Personal Finance we have prepared a foro chat version of our traditional presential or hybrid programs for a remote 20 youngsters population who go sometimes to school -when their work permits it- to receive the contents on a asyncronous way, considering the lack of digital signal in the region impacted except for some smart phone owners which received the program for it to be shared among some of them.

A successful quarter by all means. These are the results from structuring the project and completing the objective derived from our donors contributions for a long period. We are grateful and satisfied with so many young people who will now understand how to manage their financial growth ith the right tools forecasting future needs.

Reaching more youngsters for their FinEd success

We are excited to initiate the route to complete our promise. As reported in previous opportunities, we have finally began the education process to provide 12 young students with the tools to build a sound and organized financial education path to their success.

We have reached an alliance with the La Chinita School, managed by the Salesians ladies, that is located in Maracaibo, the capital city of the Zulia's State, the one located in the West Coast are, lilmiting with Colombia. An interesting number of students attend this school for their secundary education classes on a daily basis. They come from low income households, some of them from indigenous ethnicities while their majority do not count on an intelligent device to receive on line classes. However, the school bet for them to participate in our training programs.

Students are coming back to school while actions to enhance their integration to the classrooms have varied in days of presence at school and days of remote connection. It is important to highlight that remote connection has been difficult in our country showing a weak internet structure and a lack of intelligent tools at national level. On the other hand for most of students do not count with internet service nor an electronic device. In the few cases they participate with their parents phones and data as we fight for space to deliver our contents considering that for them data means prepaid money.

Nonetheless a dozen of students have initiated classes on Economic for Success, a comprehensive program that we are sending online to be acccessed with a code and also downloaded by the local volunteers who are accompanying these young teams along their classes and guiding them in matters related to financial planning, careers selection, innovative thinking and intelligent decisions to strengthen their knowledge and professional future with soft skills that are embedded in the education process.

As we have understood that is possible to maintain this project managing small groups of young people we will focus our procedures in working with the school to consequently repeat this training along the school year in order to reach as many as students as possible before classes finish next June.

These actions had not been possible without our donors support who we thank deeply for their constant and generous spirit. For each $10 given to our cause every person can inspire and push to succeed a young student forever for a better lilfe and better society.
