Thousands of women in Colorado have foregone their mammogram because of COVID. As a result, there will be hundreds of new breast cancer diagnosis in the next 12 months. We have a waiting list of over 100 Colorado Springs women who need their screening asap.
Our commitment is to breast cancer prevention. The best way to beat breast cancer is to not get breast cancer. By providing free screenings to women who cannot afford the process, we are offering the first step in prevention.
Lives will be saved, families will not be broken. A breast cancer death is the most terrible death. Becky Baker was a model. She was 6'0 and 130 pounds when diagnosed with stage IV ER positive metastatic breast cancer. When she passed, she was 5'8 and 60 pounds. Loved ones are left behind to try and maneuver the wreckage.
