From November 2023 until the present date, we have not received any donations through GlobalGiving for the Machanga emergency project. But our organization secured alternate support to distribute essential resources. To 159 families we distributed 318 pigs, 50 kg of maize flour, 30 kg of butter beans, 5L of oil for food and on another occasion we also distributed cereal and vegetable seed kits. To 160 families, we gave 366 chicks and kits of cereal and vegetable seeds.
Although the project has concluded, our commitment to the well-being of these families persists. After the projects, ESMABAMA realized the monitor visit to see the progress animal husbandry and agricultural production. Despite the challenges posed by the El Niño phenomenon, which has caused drought conditions in the region, the families have demonstrated remarkable resilience, successfully raising the animals and harvesting some agriculture products.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have made our project active on the GlobalGiving platform.
