From all the vulnerable people to face this Pandemia of Covid 19 some of the worst cases are the native families that are in situation of forced displacement. In Chiapas as a consequence of armed violent groups that invade their territoritory, more than 2,036 people are forced to move from their homes to save their live. This families are living under the trees or in the houses of neighbours.
For this people "Stay at home" in the Covid 19 has a completly different meaning, since all of them will love to be in their house, except that there are violence in the area that limit this posibility.
The risk of this population to suffer hunger is very close. For that reason our centre of Human rights Fray Bartolome de las Casas in alliance with an organization in favor of the native infancy, formaly known as (Fideicomiso para la salud de los niños indigenas de Mexico) we have join effort to report this situation and also to help directly with the distribution of food in their communities. This humanitarian support means a lot to them because it goes directly to their basic needs, and from their words, It also means that the solidarity of all of us, have a space for them.
This capacity to have joy under this dramatic circunstances, is also a lesson to us. And we love to share all this experience precisely to our felow donors, that understand exactly the benefit to share in order to create hope for the people that needed most.
