The nursing students gathered once again for the Annual Nursing Week where several activities were lined up for the whole week.
The week-long celebration started with seveal health stations found within the University for free blood pressure testing and lectures in the James B. Herring Audio-Visual Room centered on emergencies and how to prepare for such events.
One of the highlights was The Exciting Amazing Race, participated by students from other colleges. The race saw the teams battle it out against each other as they traverse several obstacles strategically placed within the University premises. By Wednesday, a Mass was held.
An assembly to give awards to deserving studentswas also done, with Mr. Llopold Ceazar V. Geconcillo (BSN class 2009), a nurse retainer of Energy Development Corporation, as Honorary speaker.
The activity would not be possible without the help of the following people: University President Victor Vicente "Dean" G. Sinco, University Chancellor Dr. Eva Melon and other administrators, and to the entire FoundationU community for making the 12th year Anniversary Celebration a success.
