In the Philippines where Foundation University is located, the Nursing Licensure Examination is a mandatory requirement for students who have completed a nursing degree in the Philippines. This is administered by the Philippine Regulation Commission, the governemnt agency for regulating professions. Once the student passes the examination, he/she becomes a full-pledged nurse and will be allowed to practice their chosen profession in the Philippines.
A licensure exam on the other hand is an initial assessment for aspiring professionals to obtain licenses and be able to practive their chosen profession. It is significant to note that this exam has a role in understandng the academic and career prospects of a student.
In November of 2023, 31 Nursing scholars of Foundation University have taken the exam. The university is very proud to announce its 100% passing rate. This is an incredible testament to the university's unwavering commitment for excellence. Together with its dedicated dean, faculty and staff, their dedication to shaping exceptional healthcare professionals is of superior qualtiy worthy of emulation.
