The Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Education has given the green light to gradually resume face-to-face classes under strict pandemic protocols although flexible learning is much more apporiate and safe at this time but delivery is very necessary in skills laboratory which plays a very important role in improving and developing the student nurse before exposing them to the real setting.
The College of Nursing has prepared for this mandate and is currently holding specialized laboratory courses and hospital based clinical practicum and rotation. Part of the implementation is the adherence to basic protocols set by the Department of Health.
The Nursing Program of the university aims to provide additional manpower support in the global health system which is a priority at this time of pandemic and is evident by the large number of enrolment into this program.
