The promotion of health and wellness is at the heart of the nursing program of Foundation University. In caring for the community, the student nurses can learn the value of service – which is integral in the education system of the educational insitution.
Just recently during the University Digital Expo held at a local mall, the student nurses with the guidance of their mentors, had a mobile clinic for the passersby to avail of blood pressure taking and blood sugar testing.
By way of helping the community, they will also become responsible healthcare professionals not only assisting in the curing process but all the more be active in promoting prevention of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
