Dear TOKA Supporters,
This quarter was all about turning plans into action – in Kosovo's classrooms, municipal halls, and cities across Europe – and none of it would have been possible without you.
Young people led the way at every step. Through our Solidarity Clubs, more than 280 volunteers designed and implemented their own community projects across nine municipalities – funded by money they raised themselves. Meanwhile, our Service-Learning clubs brought 29 youth-led projects to life on mental health, energy efficiency, and water, and took their recommendations straight to local decision-makers through roundtables in seven municipalities.
Teachers stepped up too. 73 educators were trained in the Experiential Learning Methodology and immediately put it into practice, developing over 300 new lesson plans with the support of dedicated mentor teachers – transforming how children learn in classrooms across Kosovo.
Solidarity also crossed new borders. In June, the Solidarity Action Day arrived in Geneva for the first time ever, with diaspora volunteers working in Albanian-owned businesses to support the "LULËZOJNË" Scholarship Fund – following a successful second edition in Brussels. And in the UK, the Albanian community launched an online fundraising campaign to fund new scholarships for students back home.
Looking ahead, the momentum keeps building: applications are open for the "LULËZOJNË" Scholarship 2026/27, the International Peacebuilding Camp kicks off in Prizren this July, the Regional Service-Learning Award is accepting entries for its 7th edition, and the third Volunteer of the Year Awards will launch next quarter.
