Our project seeks to empower migrants, preventing them from being victims of abuse and violations through the delivery of reliable information in one place at their fingertips. We want to empower 20,000 migrants who need information.
Migrants and refugees are coming through different borders without having the necessary information for their migration process which makes them vulnerable to violations and abuses of their rights. This phenomenon is exacerbated by the lack of reliable information on the different legal and political issues they need to know and the institutions that offer them help since this information is not easily available. find reliable and well-organized information in a country you don't know is complex
"Yo Migro"(I migrate) is an app that delivers all the information a migrant needs in one place, so they can have the information they need before they arrive to the country and to migrants who are already in the country of arrival it helps them with the information they need to their legal processes and their better understanding of the new context.
This project seeks to reach, inform and empower 20.000 venezuelan migrants who are at different borders and those who want to come or move through the southern cone.
