The income generated has been used to send chidren to school, buy household items,Buy food that can not be produced at their homes.Rabbit breeding is very fast becoming the sole income generation for the poor families. The families have been linked with companies that are interested in value addition by processing rabbit meat to supply the local market. The poor families have been able buy food items they could not grow from their small gardens. Additional income to buy food items solves the challenges of food security. Rabbits are being sold to buy maize meal, rice and potatoes in addition to the vegetables that is being grown from the use of the urine and droppings that is a good source of organic manure. we thank all our donors who have donated to this project as we celeberate a new milestone in this project.
