Sports, as an invaluable tool for development and social cohesion, provides a unique platform for uniting communities and fostering sustainable development. In this vein, the Rising Hope Foundation for Change (RHFC) is committed to leveraging football (locally known as "Ndamba") to inspire and empower the next generation. This initiative targets 400 boys and girls, aged 10 to 15, in Limbe, Cameroon, through a two-weeks community outreach program.
The 3rd Edition of "Football (Ndamba) for Peace and Sustainable Development Tournament" will feature football competitions, environmental and health awareness campaigns, and capacity-building workshops for coaches and youth. This project seeks to nurture talents, create environmental consciousness, and educate children on critical life skills such as drug abuse prevention, reproductive health, and menstrual hygiene management.
