Our Family Feeding Programs have supported 200 low income families especially women-led families, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and those living below the basic income level with food supplies and cash vouchers.
With an aim to prevent malnutrition in children of disadvantaged, indigent and poor parents our Family Feeding Programs have also supported beneficiary families and households through trainings on Gardening and Farming to 20 households and orphanages on how to start small gardens and manage subsistence farms for their daily feeding and sustenance.
The project has helped to improve the nutritional status of young children and poor homes; promote access to education through various forms of educational support; encourage healthy behaviors by providing training on water, sanitation and hygiene; and empower families and communities to overcome poverty.
