Hello Supporters!
At our schools we try to provide lunch for all the children however we are not able to do this every day and for every class as it really depends on donations. However in 2023 we had a corporate sponsor that provided breakfast to the children but sadly they had to end their gift due to financial restrictions at the end of 2023.
Since then and without a regular lunch program our teachers have reported a decline in grades as children are hngry and not as active in class, this is a huge concern for us therefore our prioritiy right now is to find a regular donation of $300 to feed all 125 children breakfast daily, our new breakfast club, we believe this is more important than the ad-hoc lunch program and therefore if anyone would like to kick start a monthly donation to us we would be really greatful.
Iit is also winter over here and we have been hit with floods and as such we have had to shut 50% of the school and relocate to a rented building while we raise 200,000ZAR to fix the school up again, you might have seen our appeal for the flood and we thank everyone that has and continues to donate as we prepare to rebuild.
It's tough but we will get through this with a little bit of support
