In our care, there are 60+ dogs, 12 cats, one pony and one goat. Some have health problems and some are very scared so their chances of adoption are really small. They need food, every month. Some of the food comes from donations abroad, but if there are no adoptions, we don't receive food either. We try to provide them medium quality food, to avoid expensive visits to the vets caused by the poor food quality.
Animals in Romania get abandoned very frequently and although we are doing spaying campaigns and try to only pick up very bad cases that have no chance on the street, we ended up with almost 70 animals that need food each day.
This project will provide food for the animals in our care for 1 month. We also feed stray dogs and cats, that unfortunately, due to lack of space, we cannot offer a home to.
The animals in our care will be feed every month, with high quality food, avoiding diseases caused by low quality food, that way decreasing future veterinary costs.
